FEB 17 Here's an interesting post on Politico: the Mayor of London has invited Bobby Jindal to tell him exactly where the no-go zones are, because he'd like to tour them, with Jindal. This cuts to the heart of the question of whether this is reality in Jindal's mind or simply more b.s. rhetoric to get his name in the news. If they truly do exist, identify their location. That's simple, right?
DREHER: WHAT JINDAL DOESN'T WANT YOU TO SEE

FEB 17 Blogger Rod Dreher writes about Bobby Jindal's plans to cut hundreds of millions from our health care budget. Of course, there are no details, because the administration is blocking any attempts to report those details to the public. That's right - the governor you're paying (to visit Iowa) won't tell the newspapers how he plans to cut your health care system. Nice!

BRG ER BITES THE DUST

FEB 17 Here's a post on DIG Baton Rouge about the closure of the emergency room of the Mid-City campus of Baton Rouge General Medical Center. The ER almost shut down a year ago, but got a bailout from the state Health and Hospitals department. That didn't come this time.
