As Bill Cosby arrived in Lafayette Friday at the Heymann Performing Arts Center, another alleged sexual assault victim had just come forward, but that didn’t put a damper on the comedian’s performance.

As Bill Cosby arrived in Lafayette Friday at the Heymann Performing Arts Center, another alleged sexual assault victim had just come forward, but that didn’t put a damper on the comedian’s performance.

According to this report from The Daily Advertiser, Friday’s show attracted about 1,000 local fans. A brief recording prior to the show warned patrons of possible “attempts to disrupt” the performance, yet that didn’t happen and ultimately Cosby’s two-hour performance was met with a standing ovation.

Though Cosby made no mention of his recent legal troubles, just hours before his arrival in Lafayette, the Huffington Post reported that another woman, former model Heidi Thomas, had just come forward with allegations of sexual assault during an encounter with the comedian in 1984.
