BBR had expanded its media department with the hiring of Lafayette native Maggie Stokes. As a media buyer, Stokes works with Media Director Monica Hebert to provide BBR’s clients with strategic guidance, support and execution for their advertising efforts. Hebert and Stokes work across several media, including newspapers, magazines, Internet, television, cinema and outdoor boards. They identify the appropriate strategies for reaching target audiences and are often able to save clients money through negotiation. Stokes earned a master’s degree in business administration from UL Lafayette, where she also obtained a bachelor’s degree in public relations.
Also at BBR, Lafayette native Christina Li, a former intern, has joined the firm as social media manager, creating and managing campaigns and social engagement for the agency’s clients. Li is responsible for engagement strategy and content development and management. Li earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a specialization in digital advertising from LSU and has a minor in visual design. Her experience includes copy editing for LSU’s student-run newspaper, The Daily Reveille, and art directing the on-campus magazine, Legacy.
