There's never a dull moment in Lafayette and this weekend is no exception. We have a lineup of style-worthy events both low key and a bit more epic with a lovely trunk show thrown in for good measure.

Let's start tonight with Easter & Oysters to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Man and Woman of the Year campaign with Rye Tuten. Tuten (along with his beautifully stylish wife) were honored at last year's INDStyle Awards, which means we know the term "fun cocktail attire" on the invite equals a stylish and great time. The event is from 7 - 11 p.m. at The Madison in Broussard and tickets are $50 a piece. FYI: There are some tickets left so head out and buy one at the door.

On Saturday, head over to Brother's on the Blvd. for some retail therapy with a trunk show from GiGi along with blog star Jennifer from hauteofftherack.com. She will be on hand from 12 to 2 p.m. while the event goes on through out the day with beautiful bags from GiGi. Bonus: Free monogramming on those sweet bags with purchase.

Saturday is also a day for beautiful and eclectic pieces of jewelry at kiki with a trunk show from Sennod. Check out INDStyle blog post here for the details.

Saturday night, we're going country at ReProm. The beloved event to benefit LEF (Lafayette Education Foundation) is always epic with a court packed with the best folks from around town. And this year — Rhinestone Cowboy theme. Tickets are $100 and Blue Denim will be on hand to keep the dance floor rocking at the Hilton after the court throws down in a bid for the king and queen of prom. To vote for LEF ReProm king and queen go to www.lefoundation.org.

Sunday refuel with some laid back delish eats at Ruffino's. The beloved restaurant will host its first cooking class at the Lafayette location with a five course dinner that includes wine pairings and a take home recipe book. The talented chefs of Ruffino's will be on hand to demonstrate how to prepare each course step-by-step and guests will be served food and wine. Sounds better than any class we've taken. The evening is $129 a person. Call 337-706-7333 for more information.
