Talk about creepy and beautiful. A remotely operated undersea vehicle 2,000 feet down in the Gulf of Mexico had an interaction with a leviathan of the deep. It’s spectacular in a Captain Ahab way.

Distracted at Sea Level

Louisiana is roughly at sea level so it’s fair to say ... wait is that the new kitten video everyone on Facebook is gushing about? OMG!

House Bill 707, AKA the Marriage and Conscience Act, is now getting some blowback from corporate America. Tech giant IBM, which recently invested in a services delivery center in Baton Rouge, sent a letter to Gov. Bobby Jindal asking him to rethink his support for the bill. Don’t hold your breath IBM.
