The Big Easel is back on

After being postponed last month due to inclement weather, the annual Big Easel Art Festival arrives in River Ranch this Saturday.

The Big Easel is a huge outdoor art festival hosted in the River Ranch Town Square each spring. Nearly 50 artists will set up tents in the River Ranch Town Square to display their artistic wares, which represent a variety of mediums including acrylic, pottery, porcelain, mixed media, oil, photography, metal, jewelry, wood, glass, encaustic, clay, watercolor, fiber and much more.

Some of the artists whose work will be featured include Virginia Woods, Julie Breaux, Connor McManus, Eric Svendson, Herb Roe and many more.

The Big Easel Art Festival will take place on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the River Ranch Town Square, located at 1100 Camellia Blvd. This event is free and open to all. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event, but ice chests and pets will not be allowed. For more details about the Big Easel visit Facebook.com/TheBigEasel
