APR 30 Here's an entertaining commentary, of sorts, on Bobby Jindal's recent op-ed piece in the New York Times in which he said he's going to be holding his firmness against the gays. (Huh.) Anyway - this is an "edited" version of the pandering piece; the Human Rights Campaign helped Bobby out.

ANOTHER CONFESSION - WORSE THAN THE FIRST
APR 30 Here's another post from the anonymous LSU blogger who came up with the creepy (and, unfortunately, believable) theory about Bobby and cults. This one takes a look at the HuffPo story about LSU's bankruptcy plans, and it is even scarier.

ADVOCATE: NO MATTER WHAT, LSU BOARD WAS WRONG
APR 30 The Advocate offers this editorial about the selection of F. Alexander King as head of the LSU system. His hiring two years ago was shrouded in (illegal) secrecy, and that was wrong - whether you think King was a good choice or not, the editorial argues.

APR 30 Seems like blogger Tom Aswell (who really is a seasoned journalist) feels that BR Business Report publisher Rolfe McCollister is acting a bit like (we're sorry to say) a weasel. TUNICA BILOXI TRIBE'S TREASURES
APR 30 Here's an interesting piece on WVUE about the Tunica-Biloxi tribe of Louisiana and its museum. The tribe's reservation is near Marksville, and home to one of Louisiana's three tribal-owned casinos.

Thursday's Blogs from the Bog!
The Human Rights Campaign takes a red pen to Bobby's (nutty) op-ed, Aswell calls out Rolfe and we have another "confession" from that anonymous LSU blogger who is telling us stuff we need to know at the risk of their job.
