BEST IN BEAUTY ... Peachy keen

by Amanda Bedgood

Life is just peachy in beauty about now. Spring blooms and summer looms ahead and peach on cheeks and lips is where it's at in the best of beauty.

While a few trending makeup gurus claim peach from eyes to lips and cheeks is the way to go, this INDStyler recommends skipping the peach shadow and sticking with blushes and glosses of the peach variety. (A bronzed, peachy lid can be beautiful paired with some warm brown shadows — beware of any shadows, however, with too much of a pink or red base.)

For gals that tend to love pink, look for a peach gloss with a hint of pink — the perfect fresh hybrid to wear with spring's floral prints. For blush that's on point with a tan face try peach with a golden sheen — part bronzer and part blush.

Kevyn Aucoin cosmetics (found locally from Taylor Your Look at O2 in River Ranch) does the peach thing in a practical way diffusing the color with neutrals. The sheer apricot gloss works well solo or over peach or pink lipstick. Dolline blush is an apricot shade that gives a hint of peach for the apple of your cheeks. And if you want the nude peach lip look no further than Sireedan lip color.
