It was a hoe down at the Hilton when the Lafayette Education Foundation arrived for ReProm in full country force. The court was packed with the kind of bedazzled cowgirls and dapper cowboys one would imagine with a theme dubbed Rhinestone ReProm. Tina Broussard was cowgirl glam in a silky turquoise shift while Olivia Regard was darling in boots and a little cocktail dress. LEF’s executive director, Becky DeJean, spared no sparkle for her getup that included some seriously blingy boots. And the funds for the whole shindig went to support LEF programs in local schools, from teacher awards to classroom grants.
