BROWN: WHAT ABOUT THE GENERAL?
MAY 22 Jim Brown is blogging about the governor's race in this week's post. While the GOP is busy packing its clown car with the sinning Senator nobody likes, a Jindal clone and the only genuinely nice guy in state office, and the pundits are saying voting for Edwards is like voting for the sinner, Brown wonders if our saving grace might just be "that John Wayne dude," as he describes Russel Honore. (Just for giggles, please note that there's a picture of Honore's book, with his first name properly spelled, at the top of the post. In the post, his first name is improperly spelled.)

MAY 22 Here's a post from WWL that lets us in on an explosive secret: some think Bobby Jindal's executive order allowing discrimination against the LGBT community was done for political reasons. Wow! You don't say? In other news, WWL reports, it's Friday.

MAY 22 Usually we go to the Dead Pelican for links, but here's a post from the site on a controversy brewing between pollster Elliott Stonecipher and the Baton Rouge Business Report. Stonecipher gave a speech which BRBR covered, and he's not happy with how his comments were edited. The BRBR had to retract the story, correct and apologize. D'oh!
Friday's Blogs from the Bog!
Brown wants to know: What about Honore? Also today, more DOE data nightmares and Captain Obvious is all over the legacy media this week.
