Moira Crone wrote a novel about the NOLA of the future - which exists on a lagoon, the southern parishes having disappeared into the Gulf. Her work was read by students in the Coastal Sustainability Studio of LSU, and their reactions have some possibilities.

Is that hyphenated?) It also gives us a slight clue as to why Bobby's not worried about his poll numbers (That is, when he has them, and they're not zero) because he's implying that he doesn't have name recognition.
