MOTHER JONES: WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT BOBBY?
JUN 16 Kevin Drum is blogging on Mother Jones about Bobby Jindal, "such an increasingly pathetic figure" that he has a hard time being mean to the governor --- until he heard about SAVE. Drum says that, as a resident of California, he's not all that shocked by budget schemes, but Jindal's scheme takes the cake for "sheer dumbness."

ASWELL: TELL THE LIE LONG ENOUGH, PEOPLE WILL BELIEVE
JUN 16 Blogger Tom Aswell is writing about Bobby Jindal and Timmy Teepell and their spin on the recent legislative session. They want everybody to know that Bobby never raised taxes (Huh? Where'd that $750 million come from - leprechauns?) and how that's all due to leadership. (Leadership? Is that a town in Iowa?)

MANN: JINDAL SCREWED HIMSELF AND GROVER
JUN 16 Blogger Bob Mann is featured here in Salon, letting the rest of the nation in on what went down during the past legislative session with Bobby Jindal, revenue-raising efforts and Grover Norquist. Jindal's "dishonest scheme" probably torpedoed his (already dead) presidential ambitions - and it also did damage to Grover's anti-tax dogma as well, Mann argues.
Tuesday's Blogs from the Bog!
Mother Jones is not clear on Bobby's "sheer dumbness." Gleason wins an award for his courage and there's some scary thing called the Brown Ocean Effect that you need to read about.
