Former La. governor to visit home state

Former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will make a rare appearance in his home state today (Thursday) when he delivers a speech at the National Right to Life Convention in New Orleans.

The conservative massage therapist who is splitting his time between Iowa and New Hampshire of late will, based on excerpts released to the press, argue that the Republican Party must make its anti-abortion stance a central plank of the 2016 campaign for the White House because minority outreach — in this case the pro-life evangelical community — is the GOP’s best chance of winning back the executive branch.
