CANDIDATES WORRIED ABOUT CHICKS
JUL 10 This story on WRKF takes a look at how the GOP candidates for governor are "wooing" female voters. Vitter has some problems with the ladies (HA. Ya think?) the post reports. Dardenne's strategy always included women, and Angelle is trying really hard to drum up support. Huh.

JUL 10 Metro Weekly runs through Bobby Jindal's greatest hits against the LGBT community in this post. Quoting heavily from the recent column by Taylor Huckaby, as well as from Jindal himself, it's a pretty ugly picture. JUL 10 The Lens writes about a historic change down in New Orleans. The first charter school that was eligible to do so has decided to go back to School Board oversight. Does this mean public education might come back to the city? Did that plan fail? We shall see...
Friday's Blogs from the Bog!
Guv candidates are courting chicks - but it ain't working for Dave. (Gee, why is that? Wait, wait - don't tell us. We got it. Hmmm...) Also in La La Land, a Confederate can of worms in NOLA and Gambit interviews "the" crawfish.
