Brass Bed at the Horse Farm

Local pop favorite takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. for the ninth act of the 10-week Levitt AMP Music Series, the free weekly outdoor concert series.

Brass Bed graces the stage at the Park at the Horse Farm tonight for the ninth act of the 10-week Levitt AMP Music Series, the free weekly outdoor concert series.

Local pop favorite Brass Bed is a cadre of self-proclaimed "wide-eyed pop dreamers" comprising Lafayette locals Jonny Campos, Peter DeHart and Christiaan Mader. Brass Bed's reverb-heavy harmonies and guitar lines create a sound that is both ethereal and reminiscent of pop tunes of the 1960s and 1970s. Their layered psychedelic rock songs are raw and honest, capturing the anxiety and humor of life.

Guests are welcome to bring chairs and blankets for this family-friendly outdoor concert, but are asked to leave their pets and ice chests at home. Food trucks and beverage vendors will be on site alongside the mid-week Farmers and Artisans’ Market at the Horse Farm. All proceeds from the beverage sales will go to Lafayette Central Park to help them build the park out at the Horse Farm.

The Levitt AMP Music Series featuring Brass Bed begins at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Horse Farm, located at 2901 Johnston St., next to the South College Center. The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, visit LafayetteCentralPark.org.
