INDStylers revealed

by Amanda Bedgood

We gathered at Moss BMW Thursday night for a photo shoot, drinks and eats with new honorees as well as past style mavens.

It was a crowd that, at first glance, didn't make sense at Moss BMW last night. Throw on the filter of INDStyle honorees and it was clear — a diverse group of fearless dressers, style makers and fashion-forward folks.

We won't make you read to the bottom to get the lowdown on the round up for the 2015 INDStyle Awards. And the honorees are: Lacey Broussard, Harold Bernard, Rachel Chigoy, Matthew and Catherine Gaspard, Frank Neuner, Chelsea Brown and Bobby Hines.

We gathered at Moss Thursday night for a photo shoot, drinks and eats with new honorees as well as past style mavens. Sharon Moss herself was there in a Grecian green dress, and store sponsors like the well-dressed gals from Hemline enjoyed an evening that kicks off The Independent's annual event slated for Sept. 17.

If this intimate affair was any indication it's going to be another year of next-level style. Style that is beyond the cookie-cutter, rule-following variety. Style that tells the world something about who you are. The vision of IND Media Co-Publisher Cherry Fisher May for this event has always been clear — to celebrate personal style through a variety of looks and to showcase the terrific local shopping options in Lafayette.

Local retail sponsors to hit the runway include Bevo's, Brother's on the Blvd., Hemline, Herringstone's, Park Lane, Partners' LTD, Shoe La La and Three Little Birds. And rounding out the evening will be innovative local designer Romey Roe with a collection sure to leave us speechless (or in my case, more verbose than usual) with inspirations from the garden.
