Party Girl

PARTY GIRL Ted Viator celebrates his 60th like only Ted can.

Ted Viator knows how to create a night people will never forget. He’s been doing it for years. He did it bigger and better than ever on Aug. 22 at the Hilton Ballroom in honor of his 60th birthday. A celebration he turned into a fundraiser dear to his heart — The Alzheimer’s Association — with old fashion games like the ring toss along with a silent auction and breakout performances from the Krewe of Apollo, Gerami Studio, The Dixie Cups and the Viator family.

The Hilton Ballroom was packed August 15 for the annual throw down for the best libation with restaurants competing for coveted wins from either the discerning judges or the people of Lafayette. Bonefish took home top honors in the Judge’s Choice category with a tropical pineapple and mango mix with a jalapeno for good measure while the Heartbreaker Martini from Ruffino’s took home the People’s Choice Award.
