The Southern Screen Film Festival presents its final Cult Classic series film, Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice at Jefferson Street Pub Thursday night.

Beetlejuice tells the story of a recently deceased couple (Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin) contract the services of a "bio-exorcist" named Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) in order to remove the obnoxious new owners of their house (Catherine O’Hara and Jeffrey Jones) and their teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder). However, Beetlejuice's "help" quickly becomes dangerous for everyone involved, both dead and alive.

The Southern Screen Film Festival hosts its final Cult Classic Film Beetlejuice on Thursday, Sept. 24, at Jefferson Street Pub, located at 500 Jefferson St. in Downtown Lafayette.
