The Diamond Devil Revue is back at Cité des Arts, bringing a new, devilishly delightful show to the second stage. This cabaret-style show will feature favorite Lafayette burlesque performers, including Lucy Furr, Mia Moore, Shirley Yours, Minnie Chanson, Shelby Have, and host Mr. Buttz. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $20 for a front row table seat with a free glass of wine, compliments of The Diamond Devils. SHAKE YOUR TRAIL FEATHER FESTIVAL

Parc du Pont

Doors: 11:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The annual fundraiser festival gets kicked off with a set by the St. Bernard School children (11:30 to Noon). Additionally, musicians David Greely and Megan Brown (Cajun folklore- Noon to 1 pm), the Magnolia Sisters (Grammy nominated-Cajun 1:30pm to 3:30pm), and Horace Trahan and the Ossun Express (Creole/Zydeco – 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm) will play on the circa 1860 bridge moored on the bayou bank. The Heritage Stage will include historical/cultural interviews with boat builders on the Teche, a premiere of Charles Richard’s documentary about wooden boat builders “In the Mind of the Maker.” Cajun Paddle will be partnering to host a “Paddle to the Party.” Kayaks and canoes will paddle 2 hours from Poche Bridge to the park with a floating band escort (10:00 am to Noon). TRAIL is partnering to host the “Trail Feathers” bike event (7:00 am to 11:00 am), which has 3 different bike routes, and they all have an option to peddle and paddle with the Cajun Paddle crew. The festival encourages folks to come to the festival adorned in feathers and compete for the Best Bird Prize. There will be artisans, several kid’s activities, face painting, food and beverages, and a kayak donated by Pack and Paddle will be auctioned (5:00 pm). Proceeds from the festival go toward building the National Bayou Teche Paddle Trail, so come join the fun, and Shake Your Trail Feathers for a good cause. FREETOWN FALL FAIR

Fall is here and and everyone loves to take advantage of the cool breeze that only lasts for a moment here in South Louisiana, which is why Warehouse 535 is hosting the Freetown Fall Fair. It's a neighborhood affair with fun for the whole family. Free admission for all with food and drinks available for purchase. Warehouse 535 is happy to welcome special guests from Lafayette's sister city of Namur, Belgium bringing us tunes from their hometown with entertainment by a Belgian Bluegrass Band. Also featuring various Belgian food demonstrations and tastings of Belgian Beer. Other activities include Pétanque Lessons, Learn the Freetown Coterie and Preview Neighborhood Heritage Signs. There will also be Local Musicians, Food Trucks, Local Beer and Jambalaya. Please bring your own lawn chairs and picnic blankets. No ice chests.

Feed & Seed presents the 4th monthly performance of Professor Phineas Sinclair's Medicine Show, where anything goes. Don't miss this variety show at Feed N Seed Lafayette. Directed and hosted by "Professor Phineas Sinclair", the series is a collection of original performances by local artists' interpretation of the monthly theme. Prepare your eyes and ears as October's showcase theme is "Hocus Pocus." Sure to leave you afraid to sleep. Expect to be shocked, happy and sad, but always thoroughly entertained. Tickets to previous shows have sold out so don't procrastinate.
