The Louisiana Technology Council, formed in New Orleans in 1994, will be holding its first Lafayette event tomorrow at the LITE Center. The organization has recently been seeking greater expansion and networking throughout the state. Tomorrow’s event, which is being held in conjunction with TechSouth, LITE, UL Lafayette and Lafayette Consolidated Government, is titled “Moving Technology Forward in Lafayette" and runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Entry is free for LTC members and $10 for non-members. Guests will be invited to tour the LITE Center, share their ideas on promoting the state’s technology community and gather information on programs and other LTC events. Bizzuka is the presenting sponsor for the inaugural Lafayette event. For more info, visit the LTC’s event Web site.
