THE CAVEMEN + NEAT

Friday, Feb. 19

Artmosphere Bistro

Doors: 9 p.m.

Cavemen have been flirting with crowds for six years and have as much a sense of charm as the house they inhabit: a drafty, friend-shared rental chock full of exotic instruments, tape decks, craft art, and chipped coffee mugs. Lyricist S.Pikit sleeps on the floor beneath an electronic harpsichord, bassist F.Novak studies and whispers behind 4-tracks in some other crevice, and percussionist E.Brasso just got a red Paperback Writer / Rain 7" that sounds better at slow speed. The rest of the world may bustle by, but somewhere the Cavemen will continue to explore the sonic frontier with eagerness.
