BRASS MIMOSA PRESENTS THE DISSONANT SESSIONS WITH CEDRIC WATSON & BIJOU CREOLE

Saturday, April 9

Blue Moon Saloon

Doors: 9:30 p.m.

Consonant chords are, roughly speaking, made up of notes that 'sound good' together, like middle C and the G above it (an interval called a fifth). Dissonant chords are combinations that sound jarring, like middle C and the C sharp above (a minor second). The Dissonant Sessions will pair bands that would be possibly considered to be "jarring bands to pair." Over the course of the evening the two bands will collaborate on various tunes. For its debut, the Dissonant Sessions will feature the funky grooves of Brass Mimosa joined by the French Creole stylings of Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole.
