Forest Huval is an intrepid upcoming musician with a voyager’s soul. A native of Cecilia, Louisiana, Forest was influenced by legendary cajun musician. His soulful vocals along with his effortless accordion and intense fiddle playing can get any crowd up and dancing. The young accordionist and fiddle player continues to hone his melodic craft with a reverence for master works and respectful nudge to the edges in original efforts. Forest aspires on working diligently to keep the true authentic style of cajun music alive both within and beyond Louisiana.

Jake Shimabukuro, a Ukulele virtuoso, who has collaborated with artists such as Jimmy Buffet, Jack Johnson, and Ziggy Marley, is set to perform at the Acadiana Center for the Arts on May 5 at 7:30pm. Shimabukuro, who will soon wrap his worldwide tour, was officially added to the 2015-2016 schedule for the AcA, just before the fifth season begins to near its end.

Nutrio is a three-piece band consisting of Byron Asher (saxophones/clarinets), Trey Boudreaux (upright bass), and Shawn Myers (drums). Boiling down their collective experience into original instrumental music, the trio draws upon experience with R&B, European and African folk music, rock, and pop music to deliver a simple but potent sound.
Zach Rhea New Music Collective is a group of Louisiana-based musicians who gather in various combinations to express themselves through improvisation an dthe music of drummer and bandleader Zach Rhea. The line-up, like the music, is ever-changing and always interesting.
