Lafayette-based Southern Lifestyle Development has promoted four employees as part of a firm-wide expansion and reorganization.

Kevin Blanchard, an attorney and former public works director for Lafayette Consolidated Government, was elevated to chief operations officer. Blanchard, who joined the real estate development firm late last year as general counsel, provides overall leadership and daily oversight of SLD activities, working under the direction of Managing Partner Robert Daigle.

Teddy Beaullieu was promoted to director of operations and commercial real estate, overseeing all post-construction activity, neighborhood activities and commercial real estate matters in SLD’s several developed traditional neighborhoods.

Ji Daily was named director of construction, where she manages various construction activities related to subdivision development, as well as commercial and mixed-use building construction.

Jeff Foshee is serving as director of planning and engineering, helping push new projects from the feasibility into the design phase. He also provides leadership for SLD’s in-house engineering group.

SLD's first project was the nationally recognized Village at River Ranch, a traditional neighborhood development in Lafayette. Now staffed by more than 20 employees, SLD has expanded into all areas of Louisiana, with more than 30 ongoing projects that include both traditional neighborhood developments and conventional subdivisions.
