Scott Feehan, a longtime board member and former board president who served as interim director for the lead-up and through Festival International de Louisiana 2016, has been named the festival’s new executive director. A board member since 2010, Feehan replaces Missy Paschke-Wood, whose short tenure with the nonprofit ended in August of last year.

Feehan is the co-owner of Scott’s Drum Center on Johnston Street and a longtime Festival supporter and volunteer.

“During the past year, Scott has proven himself to be the individual who can successfully lead the organization well into the future,” says current board President Jason Fontenot in a terse press release issued by FIL on Wednesday.
