Dog’s Day Out fundraiser benefits local animal shelters

As part of their “Dog’s Day Out” event on Saturday, June 25 from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., Ranch Outlet will be donating two tons of dog food to area animal shelters. The event offers dog owners a chance to pamper their pets and all proceeds from the event will go to local animal shelters.

Camp Bow Wow staff will be on hand to bathe dogs for $5 each and anyone who participates will be entered to win pet supply gift baskets. As part of the fundraising initiative, Ranch Outlet will be hosting “A Cupcake for a Pup’s Sake” bake sale with all proceeds from the bake sale and dog baths going to local animal shelters.

Guests and their pups are welcome to enjoy lots of free fun like “Pup-sicles” for pets, free arts and crafts provided by the Children’s Museum of Acadiana, free snow cones from the Kona Ice truck, free lemonade and sweet tea from Raising Cane’s, free pictures from the “Smooch a pooch” photo booth and free Mad Luann’s for the first 75 customers.

Lafayette Animal Control and Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana will be in attendance with adoptable animals and the store will also offer 15 percent off of the Pet Department that day.
