Piker joins JD as VP

"He’s really going to work with the farmers in this region as we do all we can to help them achieve their goals.”

Jennings-based JD Bank has announced the hire of Kevin Piker as the community bank’s vice president commercial/agricultural lender. Piker has more than 16 years of experience in the banking industry and has lived in Lafayette for a decade. He will served at JD Bank’s Verot School Road branch.

Piker is a UNO alumnus and has previous experience in wealth management, personal banking, investments, consumer lending and tax-exempt financing. His past experience in ag and business banking includes customers in Iberia, Rapides and Vermilion parishes. He most recently served as vice president and business banking relationship manager for JP Morgan Chase, where until now he spent his entire banking career.

“Kevin has worked with many different businesses and municipalities, he has specialized in commercial underwriting, and he’s really going to work with the farmers in this region as we do all we can to help them achieve their goals,” says Boyd Boudreaux, president/CEO of JD Bank, in a release announcing the hire. “We can help create opportunities with the right financing, whether for the different crops of the area or crawfish, for more equipment, real estate for more farmland or the funds that are necessary for bigger projects.”
