Local improv comedy troupe Silverbacks Improv Theatre and Houston-based improv troupe "No More Words" will perform during this Saturday’s ArtWalk.

"No More Words" is an improv duo inspired by silent movies and the grand soundtracks of modern entertainment. “No More Words” takes its inspiration from music – creating silent improvised tales using only body language and emotion. That's right - no words. Cast members for "No More Words” are Jessica Brown and Brian Jones, both of the Station Theatre in Houston.

To accompany this, the Silverbacks will perform an improv format known as "The Bat." In a pitch black theater, the performers will perform audio-only improvisation. This style hearkens to a radio or podcast like experience.

The Silverbacks Improv Theatre welcomes “No More Words” this Saturday, Sept. 10, starting at 8 p.m. at Cité des Arts in Downtown Lafayette. Tickets for these two performances are $5. For more information visit www.silverbacksimprov.com.
