Fall into the blues at Warehouse 535

If you need more reason to welcome cooler temps and the eventual arrival of Gumbo Weather, get thee to Warehouse 535 for the kickoff of Blues on the Green.

The first full day of fall is Thursday. It can’t get here soon enough. If you need more reason to welcome cooler temps and the eventual arrival of Gumbo Weather, get thee to Warehouse 535 for the kickoff of Blues on the Green, Mark Falgout and company’s latest contribution to Lafayette’s musical life.

The lineup is just coming into focus for the 6-9 p.m. outdoor concert series, but three dynamic performances are inked in: Major Handy, Lil Buck Sinegal and Lee Allen Zeno perform for the inaugural Blues on the Green this Thursday, Sept. 22, followed by A.J. & The Badcats on Sept. 29 and Michael Juan Nunez & The American Electric on Oct. 6.

Local food vendors will also be on location, and Olympic Grove will be there with yard games. Best of all, Blues on the Green is free and happens rain or shine. Freetown, y’all!
