Learn more about the research behind the Hilliard Art Museum’s latest exhibition Cajun Dance Halls and Zydeco Clubs: Then and Now in a special presentation by photographer Philip Gould, filmmaker Pudd Sharp and other special guests. The panel will be moderated by local radio personality Herman Fuselier.

This event will offer a preview of the new UL Press publication Ghosts of Good Times: Louisiana Dance Halls Past and Present. A book signing will follow the discussion.

This discussion is presented in partnership with Festivals Acadiens et Créoles and the Center for Louisiana Studies.

The Louisiana Dance Halls Panel Discussion takes place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Hilliard University Art Museum, located on the UL Lafayette Campus. Wednesday nights at the Hilliard are free to the public each week from 5 - 8 p.m. For more information, visit HilliardMuseum.org.
