Bach Lunch launches Friday

Yvette Landry

Bach Lunch’s Fall 2016 concert series kicks off Friday and features some familiar notes from the Lafayette soundtrack.

BL launches (and lunches) with country singer-songwriter Yvette Landry joined by Les Ferailles. Lunches from Chris’ Poboys, iMonelli and Johnson’s Boucanniere will be sold.

On Oct. 14 the concert dovetails with that weekend’s Festivals Acadiens et Creoles with a performance by the Michot Melody Makers (Creole Lunch House, Ema’s Café, Hub City Diner and Roly Poly).

Les Freres Michot perform the next Friday, Oct. 21 (Chick-Fil-A, Deano’s Pizza and Zea’s Rotisserie and Grill).

On Oct. 28 it’s the honky-tonk sounds of Blayze & Saddles (Bailey’s Restaurant, Jefferson Street Pub and Roly Poly).

The series closes out on Nov. 4 with roots-rocker Kevin Sekhani (Antoni’s Cafe and Poupart’s Bakery).

Bach Lunch is a free concert series held in Parc Sans Souci at noon on Fridays. It is a fundraiser for the Lafayette Natural History Museum. Lunches sell for $6 and proceeds benefit the museum.
