Thompson named development officer at LGF

Chrissy Guilbeaux Thompson brings 16 years of experience in marketing, public relations, management and business protocol in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors to the role.

Lafayette General Foundation has named Chrissy Guilbeaux Thompson as development officer. Thompson brings 16 years of experience in marketing, public relations, management and business protocol in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors to the role. She most recently was employed as the sales and marketing director for Preferred Anatomic Pathology Services where she worked to acquire new accounts as well as maintain existing accounts.

Thompson earned a BS in kinesiology and exercise science from UL Lafayette and is active with Kiwanis and the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra.

“We are excited to welcome Chrissy to the LGF family. She is going to be a great asset,” says Cian Robinson, LGF executive director, in a release announcing the hire. “Her intricate knowledge of the needs of both patients and this community makes her a perfect fit for the foundation.”
