Ciné Club presents ’The French Connection’

The Ciné Club’s monthly Lundi Movie will be held on UL’s campus this month when it screens the film French Connection, which is a 2014 co-production of France and Belgium with some 1970s flair.

The police thriller will be shown in Oliver Hall (easily accessible from Girard Park drive with plenty of parking) on Monday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. As always, there will be subtitles, snacks, and discussion.

The Ciné Club Lundi Movie is an initiative of Alliance Française de Lafayette and of the Francophone Studies Program at UL Lafayette.

Lundi Movie invites cinema lovers interested in the film production of various French speaking communities. Regardless of language, they encourage everyone to discuss, suggest movies, share opinions and criticism along with any ideas or thoughts concerning Francophone cinema worldwide and/or cinema in general.
