Daigle, Fenstermaker & Zuschlag among group endorsing Landrieu

by Leslie Turk

Democratic U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu will get some heavy lifting from an influential group of more than a dozen local business leaders tomorrow at LITE. Among those scheduled to attend the 11 a.m. press conference in LITE's lobby and throw their support to the incumbent, who faces Republican state Treasurer John Kennedy in November, are River Ranch developer Robert Daigle, attorneys Clay Allen and Robbie Mahtook, oilman Mark Miller and landman Brian Hanks, and Louisiana Oil and Gas Association President Don Briggs.

Landrieu will also get the support of Richard Zuschlag and Tyron Picard of Acadian Ambulance, attorneys Mike Skinner and John Bernhardt, businessman Bill Fenstermaker and oilman Bill DoreĀ -- though they are not expected to attend tomorrow's event.
