Allen, Daigle, Fenstermaker hosting Landrieu fund-raiser

by Nathan Stubbs

Local Republicans and business leaders Clay Allen of the Allen & Gooch law firm, Bill Fenstermaker of C.H. Fenstermaker & Associates, and developer Robert Daigle of River Ranch fame are teaming up to host a fund-raiser for Democratic U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu. The event is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 22, at the home of Kay Doré.

Landrieu is up for re-election on the Nov. 4 ballot, facing off against Republican state Treasurer John Kennedy. Tickets are $250 for individuals, $1,000 for sponsors and $2,300 to be a part of the host committee. Allen, Daigle and Fenstermaker were all part of a group of Acadiana business leaders – many of whom were Republicans – to endorse Landrieu two weeks ago.
