Lafayette locals, The Howdies play gutbucket, innard-wrenching rockabilly twang culled from the American lexicon of roots and ruts music. Formed from the ashes of several prominent local bands, The Howdies rose like a hillbilly phoenix to flap their wings and gig hard.
