Acting Up (in Acadiana) kicks off its opening night at the Blue Moon Saloon Guesthouse with The Patriot ACTs II, a series of humorous short plays, video, and song examining the state of our political and the 2008 Presidential Election. Amy Waguespack directs and Paige Krause choreographs with writing contributions from Vince LiCata, Steven Cooper, Cindy Childress, Dennis Ward, and Kimberly J. Wescott. The show features participants from Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Houston, and New York City along with actors Hannah Briggs, Ricky Briggs, Lian Cheramie, Brian Crutchfield, David Guarisco, Kara Guarisco, Megan LeBleu, George Saucier, and Cissy Whipp.
The Patriot ACTs II will take place on October 16, 17, & 18, at 7:00 p.m. at The Blue Moon Guest House and Saloon, located at 215 E. Convent Street. All tickets are $10 and available at the door. For more information call (337) 309- 4964 or (337) 739-4273.
