CABL releases 2009 La. Fact Book

by Leslie Turk

Want to know how the Pelican State stands on a number of key quality of life indicators -- how well we stack up and how far we have to go? Check out the fourth edition of Louisiana Fact Book, which is published by the Council for A Better Louisiana.

The book provides data points in a number of areas including demographics, economic activity, education, health care and public safety. It also includes a report card showing how groups outside of the state grade us, plus a listing of the less tangible -- but positive -- factors adding to the quality of life in our state.

The Louisiana Fact Book is available on the CABL Web site, by calling the CABL office at (225) 344-2225, or e-mailing [email protected].
