Congratulations on a very thorough and thoughtful piece ("Open Letter to Authement: Kill the Deal," Dec. 7). You managed to inform the public without incriminating the official and left him a clean way out. That is the art in your writing. You were also able to present the facts without force-feeding the reader your personal agendas, if in fact you have any.
I read voluminously and consider myself something of a wordsmith. I must salute you for producing the finest writing available in the area. Just keep plowin'.
