Advertiser announces further redesign

The Daily Advertiser has announced plans for a further redesign to make the publication more competitive in an increasingly difficult economic environment. “Beginning Thursday, April 30,” writes Publisher and President Leslie Hurst in a front-page notice in Tuesday’s paper, “The Daily Advertiser will be published as a single page distributed to newsstands each Thursday. We feel this redesign will maximize our publication’s ability to continue to deliver the type of newspaper our readers have come to expect.”

Hurst adds that the all-new paper will be printed on both sides and will cost $9.
