In the Feb. 7 article "King Ponch," actor Erik Estrada was incorrectly identified as the king of the Krewe of Carnivale en Rio. Estrada's role was as Duque du Parada. This year's king of Rio was Warren J. Shepherd. The Independent Weekly regrets the error.
