‘Mockingbird' panel tackles issues tonight

In anticipation of Sunday’s stage presentation of “To Kill a Mockingbird,” the Performing Arts Society of Acadiana is hosting a series of events this week surrounding the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and stage adaptation beginning with a panel discussion at 6 p.m. today at the Lafayette Public Library South Regional Branch on Johnston Street.

The panel will feature UL Professor Mary Ann Wilson, author William Cobb and others as they explore issues in Harper Lee’s novel. Other events will follow Tuesday through Thursday elsewhere in town. Stay tuned to the INDsider for details.
