Lit workshop set for teachers

More lead-in today to the Performing Arts Society of Acadiana’s Sunday stage presentation of “To Kill a Mockingbird.”

At 4:30 p.m. today at the Acadiana Center for the Arts downtown, the Acadiana Arts Council will present “Exploring Points of View through Drama: Walking in Another’s Shoes,” a workshop lead by Judy Thibault Klevins focusing on Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. The three-hour workshop is geared for teachers of grades 5 through 12 and focuses on helping students analyze literature. Registration is $10; $5 for employees of the Lafayette Parish School System.
