The Lafayette City-Parish Council, mostly along party and north-south boundary lines, overrode seven of City-Parish President Joey Durel's 12 line-item vetoes of the 2009-2010 fiscal year budget, reinstating some $659,000 in funding out of roughly $1.17 million Durel cut two weeks ago.
