Ethics chairman says Jindal made system ‘convoluted and crippled'

The chairman of the state Board of Ethics Monday told the Baton Rouge Press Club he believes the administration of Gov. Bobby Jindal, in shifting power from the board to administrative law judges, left Louisiana’s system of administering and enforcing ethics laws in a shambles, according to The Advocate. “This is a convoluted and crippled ethics system we have today,” Frank Simoneaux is quoted as saying. “It does not make sense. It does not work well.”
