Last call for Entrepreneur of the Year nominations

by Leslie Turk

They can be 20 years old or 60. In business for a decade or year. They might employ two people or 500.

Acadiana Business, a publication of The Independent Weekly, is seeking nominations for its annual entrepreneurs of the year feature; we will profile several individuals, but for the first time this year we are choosing an Entrepreneur of the Year. The only criteria for nominations is that these individuals embody Acadiana’s entrepreneurial spirit by creating jobs and opportunities in the region.

We also want people who take chances — which encourages others to do the same — and have great stories to tell!

The nomination process closes this week, and those selected will be profiled in the December issue of Acadiana Business, which hits newsstands Nov. 25. Send your nominations to Leslie Turk at [email protected].
