Thank you so much for covering this story ("They Deserve Better," March 28). Members of our organization have written letters since this bill was passed trying to get this fund established. We were aware that the first meeting was supposed to have taken place, but not of these details. We have forwarded the article out and encouraged our members to contact their representatives. We will watch for more information as to the discrepancies in the funds collected and the progress of the board in making the funds available to military families.
