Great article on Dandy Don! I am a displaced LSU fan, living deep in the heart of Texas. One of my sons, an LSU alumnus, put me on to Dandy Don's site a little over a year ago so I could stay close to the beat of the Tiger's heart. I don't think I've missed reading his column once since then. He does a great service to the university, the state of Louisiana and LSU fans.
I never knew his background. Your article helped me put a face and a personality with the newsletter, and he sounds just like I would have hoped him to be ' a great guy and a big Tiger fan.
