Your column questioning Eric Benjamin's credibility ("The Credibility Question for The Times of Acadiana's Eric Benjamin," July 6) was mean-spirited and not in keeping with the quality of journalism The Independent has come to represent.
Where Eric Benjamin lives has nothing to do with the fiber-to-the-home debate. If domicile was the issue, then scratch all the testimony from those "experts" who have been brought in from other parts of the country to say how good fiber can be for your community.
You took the "low road" on this one and did your paper and Mr. Benjamin an injustice.
Shame on you.
