The music world is taking notice of Lafayette band Givers. The homegrown act consisting of Taylor Guarisco, Tiffany Lamson, Will Henderson, Josh LeBlanc and Kirby Campbell released their self-titled EP last year on Valcour Records and toured briefly with Brooklyn act The Dirty Projectors. Last week, they were one of seven groups featured on NPR's weekly radio show and podcast "All Songs Considered."
The band is currently recording its first full length album at Dockside Studios in Maurice. Givers are slated to play this year's South by Southwest Music showcase in Austin and Festival International. Listen to the "All Songs Considered" episode here.
